Many businesses being started today are SOHOs (small office/home office). As these businesses start to grow, so does the workload, leaving less time and energy for the owner to focus on running and growing the business.
Enter the Virtual Assistant (me)!
A Virtual Assistant is an independent entrepreneur who provides support to small business owners.
My preferred style is to ‘partner’ with my clients by building a strong rapport through ongoing, open and honest communication, which leads to a working relationship based on trust and confidence. I see my role as that of a collaborator who can help ease your burden by providing the quality support needed to help you achieve your goals. This is accomplished without my being physically present in your office.
Communication, verbal or electronic, is the key to successful partnering. Admittedly, it is tough for some people to "let go", but once you have experienced the luxury of extra time gained by delegating, you will wonder how you ever got along without your VA. There will be more balance in your professional and personal life.
Look at some of the benefits:
• |
You are able to focus on what you love to do, and use your time more effectively to grow your business. |
• |
You will achieve more balance in your business and personal life. |
• |
No need to incur the expense of equipment and software. |
• |
Your overhead is kept reasonable because you are not required to supply space or extra equipment, you pay only for hours worked, and there are no hidden employee costs.
|
Admittedly working with a Virtual Assistant is a new experience for some, but it does work because technology has made the world a much smaller place. Communication is by telephone, email, fax, courier, snailmail.
